O presidente do PSD, Gilberto Kassab, disse em entrevista à Jovem Pan, nesta segunda-feira (13), que o Congresso Nacional precisa "voltar a debater políticas públicas" e que está "desiludido com a qualidade do Congresso brasileiro".
Mesmo com o PSD sendo uma das maiores legendas presentes no Congresso Nacional, com 49 deputados e 13 senadores, Kassab afirmou que não tem "nenhum constragimento" em dizer que os parlamentares deixaram de discutir temas que favoreçam a população. "O Congresso não está com a pauta da sociedade. Não tenho nenhum constragimento", afirmou o presidente do PSD.
"Isso é uma excrescência, R$60 bilhões todos os anos. Com emendas que, em sua grande parte, não tem nenhuma vinculação com investimento em infraestrutura, que é o papel do orçamento federal", acrescentou.
O presidente finalizou ao dizer que quase não há outras pautas a serem discutidas no Congresso que não sejam "emendas parlamentares e indicações de membros de agências reguladoras. Eu falo isso aqui ao vivo ou em qualquer outro lugar", acrescentou Kassab.
Para o Orçamento de 2026, deputados e senadores apresentaram 7.453 emendas ao Projeto de Lei Orçamentária (PLN 15/2025), representando R$ 61 bilhões destinados às emendas parlamentares.
