Aquisição do terreno
O projeto de compra do terreno foi aprovado pela Câmara de Vereadores e sancionado pela prefeita Aline Ruthes (PSD) nessa quarta-feira (15). Conforme a Lei nº 2.826, a aquisição poderá ocorrer por compra direta ou desapropriação.
Os recursos para viabilizar a compra são provenientes de um convênio firmado com o Governo do Estado de Santa Catarina, no valor de R$ 3 milhões, além de operação de crédito já autorizada pelo município.
O terreno tem uma área total de 337.842 metros quadrados, equivalente a cerca de 47 campos de futebol, conforme o padrão da Fifa, e fica na região de Palmital.
