A atriz Nadia Farès morreu nesta sexta-feira 17 aos 57 anos, após ser encontrada inconsciente em uma piscina há uma semana em Paris, informaram suas filhas à AFP.
"É com imensa tristeza que anunciamos, nesta sexta-feira, o falecimento de Nadia Farès. A França perdeu uma grande artista, mas para nós, acima de tudo, é uma mãe que acabamos de perder", escreveram Cylia e Shana Chasman. A família pediu "respeito e discrição" durante o luto.
A atriz morreu no Hospital Pitié-Salpêtrière, para onde foi levada no domingo, depois de ter sido encontrada em um clube privado. Uma investigação foi aberta, mas, por enquanto, nenhuma infração foi constatada.
Ela sofreu um desmaio devido a um "incidente cardíaco", detalharam suas filhas à AFP.

Farès rodaria seu primeiro longa-metragem como roteirista e diretora no próximo mês de setembro.
Em entrevista à revista francesa Gala em janeiro, a atriz revelou que se submeteu em 2007 a "uma operação no cérebro, por um aneurisma que não era exatamente pequeno".
"Uma bomba-relógio que precisava ser tratada com a máxima urgência. E, em quatro anos, passei por três cirurgias cardíacas", contou ela, que dizia nadar quatro vezes por semana.
Nascida em 1968 em Marrakech, no Marrocos, Nadia Farès cresceu em Nice antes de se mudar para Paris para tentar a carreira artística.
Estreou no cinema nos anos 1990. Atuou para diretores renomados como Alexandre Arcady, Claude Lelouch e Bernie Bonvoisin.
Viveu um tempo nos Estados Unidos com o produtor Steve Chasman, com quem teve duas filhas.
