Comando diz ao STF que Mário Fernandes, preso por tentativa de golpe de Estado, cumpre requisitos para visitas da mulher
O Exército disse nesta 6ª feira (13.fev.2026) que o general da reserva Mário Fernandes preenche os requisitos para receber visitas íntimas. A defesa do general solicitou ao STF (Supremo Tribunal Federal), em 2 de fevereiro de 2026, autorização para que ele receba a mulher, Daniela Cabral Fernandes. Segundo os advogados, as visitas visam a oferecer estabilidade emocional e contribuir para a reabilitação social. Na 6ª feira (6.fev), Moraes determinou que a força militar informasse se o general atendia aos requisitos para o benefício.
"Ao analisar o caso concreto, verifica-se que, em tese, o requerente preenche os requisitos para o deferimento da medida, nos termos do art. 41, inciso X, da Lei de Execução Penal. No tocante aos requisitos internos da Organização Militar, esta Administração Militar entende que a Unidade de custódia dispõe de infraestrutura apta a assegurar aos presos a realização da medida proposta", afirma o documento do comando.
A força militar esclareceu que, apesar de confirmar que a estrutura é apropriada, a concessão efetiva do benefício dependerá de autorização judicial específica. O Exército também considera questões administrativas internas para implementar a medida solicitada.
Com o envio das informações do Exército, o pedido será encaminhado para avaliação da PGR (Procuradoria Geral da República), que terá 5 dias para se manifestar.

Segundo a PF (Polícia Federal), o documento planejava cenários para o assassinato do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), do vice-presidente Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) e do ministro Alexandre de Moraes.
O general assumiu a autoria do material, que havia sido encontrado em seus dispositivos eletrônicos. Disse que se tratava de um documento pessoal e que não chegou a compartilhá-lo com terceiros. Ele está preso preventivamente desde novembro de 2024.
