Após pedido do Ministério Público do Estado do Amazonas (MPAM), a justiça amazonense converteu o flagrante de Jefferson Buhler Figliuolo, preso por atropelar e matar cães no bairro Parque Dez de Novembro, zona Centro-Sul de Manaus, em prisão preventiva na audiência de custódia nesta quinta-feira (23).
O pedido foi feito pelo promotor Thiago de Melo e aceito pelo Tribunal de Justiça do Amazonas (TJAM).
Segundo o delegado Guilherme Antoniazzi, titular da Delegacia Especializada em Crimes Contra o Meio Ambiente e Urbanismo (Dema), após praticar o crime de maus tratos contra animais, e fugir do local, o suspeito deixou o carro utilizado no atropelamento em sua residência e, posteriormente, foi localizado no saguão de embarque do Aeroporto Internacional de Manaus Eduardo Gomes, bairro Tarumã, zona Oeste de Manaus, prestes a embarcar em um vôo com destino a São Paulo.
"Ele estava na Sala de Embarque prestes a embarcar para São Paulo. Foram realizadas as buscas no local, por meio da Polícia Militar. Acionada a Polícia Civil no Aeroporto e a Delegacia do Turismo, efetuaram a prisão em flagrante do indivíduo que estava prestes a ingressar no avião. Ele foi conduzido ao 19º Distrito Integrado de Polícia (DIP) para ser realizado o flagrante delito por maus-tratos aos animais", explicou o delegado.
Durante a prisão, o suspeito afirmou em um vídeo gravado por protetores de animais que "se pudesse, faria tudo de novo", e segundo o delegado, este vídeo será anexado como subsídio do Inquérito Policial.
