Um homem de 42 anos foi preso por suspeita de estuprar uma adolescente de 12 anos em Jitaúna, na Bahia. O suspeito, amigo da família, foi localizado e preso na sede do município, através da operação "Sentinela".

Segundo a Polícia Civil, ele era coautor do crime, frequentava a residência da vítima e teria praticado os abusos com a anuência do pai da adolescente.

De acordo com as investigações, a vítima sofreu abusos ao longo de 2025. Os fatos foram relatados a um familiar, que procurou uma unidade policial para registro da ocorrência. O pai da vítima, de 53 anos, foi preso em janeiro de 2026, também investigado pelo mesmo crime.

O mandado de prisão foi expedido pela Vara Criminal da Comarca de Jitaúna. O investigado segue custodiado à disposição da Justiça.
