Ala vai atender urgências de pacientes em tratamento no Baleia nas especialidades de ortopedia e nefrologia
O Hospital da Baleia irá ganhar uma nova ala. Localizada no bairro Saudade, região Leste de Belo Horizonte, a unidade de saúde inaugura nesta sexta-feira (24), às 10h, o Pronto-Atendimento Referenciado. Conforme o hospital, o local irá atender urgências de pacientes em tratamento, nas especialidades de ortopedia e oncologia.
A nova estrutura contará com 11 leitos de observação adulto e três leitos de observação pediátrica, além das salas de isolamento, gesso, procedimentos, consultórios e triagem. Conforme a equipe do hospital, a ala também terá capacidade de realizar até 600 atendimentos mensais. Esta expansão ainda deve permitir o acolhimento de até 80 pacientes vítimas de fraturas fechadas por mês.
Segundo a unidade de tratamento, nestes casos, serão socorridos os pacientes que chegarem pelo Samu na Regional Leste ou na Regional Nordeste. Conforme o Hospital da Baleia, após se tornar 100% SUS, a unidade passou de 106 para 220 leitos.
