BRASÍLIA - O banqueiro Daniel Vorcaro, dono do Banco Master, foi levado ao hospital e passou por exames em Brasília nesta quinta-feira, 23. Ele ingressou no DF Star por volta das 12h50 e ficou no local até às 14h15. Depois, retornou para a Superintendência da Polícia Federal, onde está preso preventivamente por suspeita de fraudes na gestão da instituição financeira.
A saída foi autorizada nesta quarta-feira, 22, pelo ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) André Mendonça, após o banqueiro ter relatado se sentir mal. O banqueiro recebeu atendimento médico na prisão e relatou ter urinado sangue. Mendonça determinou que a escolta de Vorcaro seria feita por agentes da Polícia Federal.
Ele passou por uma série de exames rotineiros e, segundo informação da CNN Brasil, caso os exames apontem um problema de saúde grave, a defesa avalia encaminhar ao STF um pedido de prisão domiciliar.
Ele foi preso no último dia 4 de março, por ordem de Mendonça, depois que a Polícia Federal entregou provas ao STF de que Vorcaro mantinha um braço armado, usado para ameaçar adversários e também para invadir sistemas de informática dos órgãos de investigação.
Vorcaro estava preso na penitenciária federal em Brasília mas, no dia 19, foi transferido de helicóptero para a Superintendência da PF na capital federal.
