O vice-presidente Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) tentou associar o governo do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) como a gestão que tentou retomar "mais um imposto, a CPMF". A reforma tributária do ministro (Fernando) Haddad, há estudos do Ipea, vai fazer o PIB crescer 12% a mais em 15 anos", afirmou Alckmin na abertura do 8º congresso do Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) nesta sexta-feira, 24.

"O governo anterior desonerou jet ski, arma e veleiros, e Lula desonerou quem ganha até R$ 5 mil", disse.

Alckmin agradeceu aos presentes pela recepção que recebeu. Disse ser recebido nos encontros de petistas "com enorme afeto" e ressaltou sua "lealdade" ao presidente da República.

"Teremos processo eleitoral e primeiro destacar que o presidente Lula salvou a democracia no Brasil. Se perdendo as eleições tentaram dar um golpe, imagina se tivessem ganho. Mário Covas dizia que as pessoas podem ser mais à direita ou mais à esquerda, mas o que as diferencia é o apreço à democracia", afirmou, citando o ex-governador de São Paulo morto em 2001, de quem foi vice.
