A Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (Anac) atualizou as regras para o transporte de carregadores portáteis (power banks) em voos. O objetivo é aumentar a segurança das operações aéreas.
Segundo a Anac, as medidas têm o objetivo de reduzir o risco de incêndios em cabine, pois as baterias de lítio podem apresentar falhas que levam ao superaquecimento.
A portaria regulatória que revisa regras já existentes foi publicada no Diário Oficial da União. A revisão incorporou as novas especificações da Organização da Aviação Civil Internacional (Oaci) sobre o transporte desses itens.
As novas regras estabelecem:
Power banks devem ser transportados exclusivamente na bagagem de mão (regra já existente, agora reforçada);
Cada passageiro poderá transportar, no máximo, dois power banks;
Equipamentos devem ter capacidade de até 100Wh;
Modelos entre 100 Wh e 160 Wh precisarão de autorização prévia da companhia aérea;
Modelos superiores a 160 Wh são proibidos e deverão ser descartados antes da entrada na aeronave;
Power banks não devem ser utilizados para carregar outros eletrônicos a bordo da aeronave;
Power banks devem estar protegidos contra curto-circuito, com os terminais isolados ou na embalagem original;
É proibido recarregar power banks a bordo da aeronave.
A Anac orienta que passageiros entrem em contato com as empresas aéreas antes de embarcar portando power banks.
