O Comitê-Executivo de Gestão da Câmara de Comércio Exterior aplicou direitos antidumping contra as importações brasileiras de três itens originários da China. São eles:
Agulhas hipodérmicas;
Laminados planos de aço carbono, ligados ou não ligados, em forma de chapas (não enrolados) ou em bobinas (rolos), de qualquer largura ou espessura, laminados a frio;
Aços laminados planos, ligados ou não ligados, galvanizados eletroliticamente ou por outro processo (exceto os ondulados), ou revestidos de alumínio, independentemente se puros, ligados entre si (alumínio-zinco) ou ligados a outros metais, em forma de rolos ou não.
As resoluções foram publicadas no DOU (Diário Oficial da União) desta quarta-feira (18), e entram em vigor a partir da data de publicação.
Os direitos antidumping serão recolhidos por um prazo de até cinco anos e sob a forma de alíquotas com valores específicos e definidos em dólares norte-americanos a cada mil unidades, no caso das agulhas; ou por tonelada, no caso dos laminados. As taxas cobradas variam de acordo com o produto e empresa produtora.
As tarifas cobradas a cada mil unidades de agulha variam de US$ 0,23 a US$ 25,57. Para os laminados planos a frio, a cobrança sobre a tonelada vai de US$ 322,93 a US$ 670,02. Aos laminados planos revestidos, de US$ 284,98 a US$ 709,63.
O dumping é uma prática comercial que consiste no "despejo" de produtos por parte de um agente estrangeiro - seja uma empresa ou país - em um mercado com preços artificialmente baixos, geralmente inferiores aos praticados no local ou até mesmo abaixo do custo de produção.
O governo apura situações consideradas suspeitas, geralmente por petição de agentes do setor privado afetados pela prática. Uma vez comprovada a prática, são levantadas medidas para proteger o mercado doméstico.
Os três casos eram investigados desde 2024, segundo dados do Painel de Defesa Comercial do Mdic (Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços). A pasta ainda tem outras 23 investigações em curso de potenciais casos de dumping de produtos chineses.
As novas proteções se somam a outras 54 medidas de defesa comercial adotadas pelo Brasil em relação à China.
