Um pescador aposentado morreu após ter a bicicleta elétrica atingida por uma caminhonete Toyota Hilux no bairro Parque das Gaivotas, na Serra. O acidente aconteceu na última sexta-feira (13). A vítima, identificada como Milton Gonçalves da Silva, de 62 anos, chegou a ser socorrida, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu na segunda-feira (16).
Segundo familiares, Milton morava no bairro havia cerca de 20 anos e tinha o hábito de fazer passeios de bicicleta pelas ruas da região. Ele foi atingido no cruzamento entre a Rua Ibitirama e a Rua Ponto Belo.
O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu/ 192) foi acionado e encaminhou a vítima ao Hospital Estadual Dr. Jayme Santos Neves, onde permaneceu internada. Milton sofreu ferimentos graves, incluindo traumatismo craniano, além de fraturas na costela e na perna, e perfuração no pulmão.
"Era uma pessoa querida por todos. Passava quase 70% do tempo andando de bicicleta, de casa em casa, mandando mensagem, brincando com todo mundo. Tomava cafezinho na casa de todo mundo. Gostava muito de crianças. O passeio de bicicleta pelo bairro era rotineiro", relatou o advogado Charles Jean, filho da vítima.
O velório e o enterro acontecem nesta terça-feira (17), no Cemitério de Nova Almeida. Procurada por A Gazeta, a Polícia Civil informou que a Delegacia Especializada de Delitos de Trânsito (DDT) vai investigar as circunstâncias do acidente.
