Motoristas que trafegam pela BR 101 vão ter um custo maior para percorrer os 475 quilômetros da rodovia no Espírito Santo: a partir da próxima sexta-feira (27), o preço do pedágio vai aumentar. O reajuste médio nas sete praças será de 15,06%, porém há tarifa com valorização superior a 50%. O desembolso pode variar de R$ 3 a R$ 54,40, dependendo do município e da categoria do veículo.
A correção nos valores foi aprovada pela Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT) e publicada no Diário Oficial da União de segunda-feira (23). A aplicação do Índice de Reajustamento Tarifário (IRT), de 15,06%, corresponde à variação do Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo (IPCA), observada entre os meses de novembro de 2022 e dezembro de 2025. Mas motoristas de automóveis que passam pela praça de Pedro Canário, por exemplo, vão ter um aumento na tarifa, que passará de R$ 3,40 para R$ 5,20, o equivalente a 52,9%.
A última mudança nas tarifas ocorreu em agosto de 2023, quando os valores foram reduzidos para reequilíbrio econômico-financeiro do contrato, na época em que a concessionária ainda era a Eco101. A empresa, agora, é denominada Ecovias Capixaba.
