PF faz operação para combater apologia ao nazismo na internet

A Polícia Federal realizou nesta quarta-feira (11), em Americana (SP), uma operação contra um homem que praticava discriminação racial e apologia ao nazismo na internet.
Com o cumprimento da ordem judicial, foram apreendidos um telefone celular e um disco rígido. O conteúdo dos dispositivos será analisado pela perícia, a fim de aprofundar as investigações e identificar outros possíveis envolvidos.
A ação faz parte da Operação Ethos, que busca reprimir crimes de ódio na internet. Em fevereiro, a PF realizou uma ação parecida no interior paulista, na cidade de São José dos Campos. Na ocasião, um homem foi preso por armazenar material de abuso sexual de crianças e adolescentes.
Segundo o Grupo de Repressão a Crimes Cibernéticos da Delegacia de Polícia Federal da cidade, o criminoso baixou e compartilhou cerca de 200 arquivos com material ilícito.

Com um total de 63.214 notificações, grande parte das denúncias registradas eram relacionadas a imagens e vídeos de abuso e exploração sexual infantil. Em segundo lugar aparece denúncias de discriminação contra mulheres, com 8.728 casos, seguido de denúncias de incitação a crimes contra a vida, com 4.752 denúncias, e de racismo, com 3.220 casos.
