O celular de Daniel Vorcaro foi apreendido em novembro, no âmbito da Operação Compliance Zero, que investiga fraudes financeiras no banco Master. A instituição foi liquidada pelo Banco Central.

Em nota divulgada na noite de quarta-feira, Dias Toffoli afirmou ser alvo de "ilações". Já a defesa de Vorcaro criticou o que classificou como "vazamento seletivo de informações" com o objetivo de "gerar constrangimentos indevidos, favorecer ilações e a construção de narrativas equivocadas, além de prejudicar o pleno exercício do direito de defesa".
