Por Guilherme Levorato - O presidente do União Brasil, Antônio Rueda, afirmou a interlocutores que poderia obter ganhos bilionários ao intermediar a venda do Banco Master ao Banco de Brasília (BRB), segundo Andreza Matais, do Metrópoles. O dirigente partidário teria participado de articulações relacionadas ao negócio e buscado aproximação com envolvidos na operação.

O empresário Daniel Vorcaro, controlador do Master, conheceu Rueda por meio de Paulo Henrique Costa, então presidente do BRB. Mensagens obtidas indicam que Costa relatou a Vorcaro um encontro com o dirigente do União Brasil, além de transmitir o interesse de Rueda em se reunir com o empresário.
