The company filed its request to exit judicial recovery at the end of March, according to CFO Sebastien Durchon in an interview with Reuters. "We have advanced since March, with a favorable opinion from the Public Ministry. Now it's in the judge's hands," he said. Americanas is also continuing asset sales: it announced the sale of 10 unprofitable Hortifruti Natural da Terra stores for R$ 69.3 million and is negotiating the sale of real estate valued between R$ 346 million and R$ 468 million.
