The survey comes with the STF operating with only 10 justices since Luís Roberto Barroso's early retirement in October 2025. Currently, the court has only one female justice — Cármen Lúcia — and two justices who declare themselves mixed-race: Kassio Nunes Marques and Flávio Dino. The remaining justices are white.
