Fátima Bernardes revealed details about how she and William Bonner organized raising their triplet children after their separation, in an interview on the "Mil e Uma Tretas" podcast recorded on May 12, 2026. The presenter explained there were no discussions about custody or visits because the children — Beatriz, Laura and Vinícius — were between 18 and 19 years old when their parents separated in August 2016, being already of legal age.

"No meu caso, eles tinham entre 18 e 19 anos, então não houve nenhuma daquelas discussões"

"In my case, they were between 18 and 19 years old, so there weren't any of those discussions," Fátima said, according to NSC Total. "There didn't have to be visiting days, there didn't have to be anything. They took the car, slept there, slept here whenever they wanted, both of us were always calm about that." The triplets, born in 1997 through artificial insemination, freely alternated between their divorced parents' houses.

Fátima emphasized that she and Bonner maintained mutual respect during and after the separation, never speaking ill of each other to the children. "I'm sure they never heard William speaking ill of me, nor did they ever hear me speak ill of William at any moment, because there really wasn't anything to say," she told SBT TV.
